September 11th Weekly Highlights

CHALLENGE 610

Galatians 6:10 says, Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone. We want to practice this kind of  generosity here at Homeport. During the month of September we will be collecting bags of individually wrapped candies for our ”Halloween on Mission.” Our goal is to collect enough candy to hand out 1,000 Homeport candy bag with invitations into the community.

LADIES BREAKFAST & FELLOWSHIP

Join us Saturday September 17th at 9am to kick off our fall ladies ministry meetings. We will have a time of breakfast, fellowship, devotion and prayer. This is a great way to meet new ladies in the church and to develop deeper relationships. Any question please contact Beckie Leewe. Please plan on bringing your favorite breakfast item to share.

BRIDAL SHOWER

Ladies, please join us for a Bridal Shower on Sunday, September 18 as we celebrate Jen Nardone and her upcoming marriage to John Chapman! The shower will be held immediately following the second gathering on September 18. A light lunch will be served. Please write down a favorite recipe to share with Jen. If you would like to bring a gift we are simply collecting gift cards to local stores and restaurants to bless Jen and John with as they begin their life together. We hope to see you there!
