COATS FOR KIDS | NOVEMBER 3 – DECEMBER 1
Somebody Cares St. Augustine and the St. Johns County School District’s Homeless Student Task Force is again conducting a winter coat drive during the month of November. These winter clothing items will go to the over 500 students in the St. Johns County School District in grades K-12 who are classified as Homeless. They need winter coats, sweatshirt jackets or lightweight coats, new socks, and new underwear. Donated coats may be new or used in good stain-free condition and should not have logos for alcohol or tobacco companies.
If you know of someone who needs help during the Thanksgiving holiday, please write their name and information on your Connect Card or email it to us at the office firstname.lastname@example.org.
THANK OFFERING | NOVEMBER 24
Each November we collect a special offering called the “Thank Offering”. It’s a time for you and your family to say thank you to God for all the ways He has blessed you in this past year. This offering helps support needs in our community around Thanksgiving and Christmas, along with donations to missions above our yearly budget. Please pray about how you will participate in this offering on Nov. 24th.
