April 19th Weekly Highlights


Are you new to Homeport? April 26th after the 10:30am gathering we are hosting an event designed to help you learn what Homeport is really passionate about. Our desire is to help you connect with Jesus, learn more about our core values, how get connected to a Community Group, and it is also a great time to meet others new to Homeport and our staff. Lunch is provided. Please sign up in the lobby at the Resource Table.


We are collecting French Salad Dressing & Powdered Sugar. You can bring these items in and place them in brown collection bin in the lobby.

Early Bird Rates & Camp Scholarships: The early bird rate for summer camp ends 30 days before the week of the camp you plan on sending your child to this summer. You can register them for camp with a $75 deposit with the remainder due 2 weeks before camp. Please see Ben Boles after the gatherings for the code for Homeport’s Camp Scholarship, we pay $100 towards camp for those who are part of Homeport.

Family Camp: We are so very excited for Family Day, May 9th, at North Florida Christian Camp. The event will start at 10 am and run till about 3 pm, with tons of fun activities, food, and fellowship. Bring clothes you don’t mind getting wet in.  Come out and enjoy a great time at the camp and make sure to invite all of your family and friends!


This year’s CareFest banquet scheduled for 6:30 pm on May 21st, 2015 at Anastasia Baptist Church. Tickets are $18.00. Each table holds 8 people. This year the meal is catered by A1A Ale Works.  All of the proceeds benefit CareFest 2015. This is a great opportunity for people who are not physically able to help with projects but still want to contribute. For tickets please see Harry Cohn or contact him at (720) 272-3445.


Looking for a place to start serving. Mark your calendars for April 28th when we will serve dinner downtown. We meet at the parking lot on the northeast corner of Bridge St. and Granada St. at 5:30pm.  If anyone can make a donation of either food, time or money to Hearts For The Hungry, please do so. If you would like to serve the foods that will be shared on the 28th contact Tisha Dillion.
