We consider it an honor and a privilege to help you identify and take your next step here at Homeport. In fact, we believe there’s a Next Step for every follower of Jesus, no matter if you’re a new believer or if you’ve been doing this for years. Either way, we’re thrilled you’re here!
God has a place for you where your unique abilities and passions can impact the lives of others. We believe your life will never make sense until you find, develop and fulfill that purpose. We have a number of Serve Teams at Homeport and we want to help you discover your purpose and the right team for you.
WEEK OF NOVEMBER 29th
THANK YOU FOR JOINING TOGETHER TO SUPPORT THE THANK OFFERING
Though 2020 has been tough for many, we still have so much to be thankful for. God’s continued blessings and provisions have seen us collectively and individually through this year. With God’s movement in our midst and your generosity, we collected $9374 for this year’s Thank Offering! Not only were we able to provide 14 turkeys, 6 more were brought in from the congregation. Together we collected more than 20 Thanksgiving meals and were able to fill the shelves of the Food Pantry at Gamble Rogers Middle School. We are sending $5000 to North Florida Christian Camp and $800 to Coats for Kids here in St. Johns County.

Finding Happiness In The Love Of God
Scriptures Used In This Message: 1 John 4:7-12, 16
Key Text: 1 John 4:9-11
"9 God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.10 This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.11 Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other." "6Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)
