November 19th Weekly Highlights

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING – SUNDAY DECEMBER 3RD
There will be a Congregational Meeting after each gathering on December 3rd to celebrate what God has done in 2017 and look ahead towards 2018.

THANKSGIVING OFFERING – TODAY
This a time for you and your family to say thank you to God for all the ways He has blessed you in this past year. This offering will go to provide the turkeys for our Thanksgiving Baskets, Christmas presents for families in need and many other opportunities for us to bless the community and those around the world.

NAMES FOR THANKSGIVING BASKETS – TODAY
If you know of a family that will need help this Thanksgiving write their name and contact information on the back of your Connect Card.

HEARTS FOR THE HUNGRY – NOVEMBER 28TH
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 28th when we will serve dinner downtown. We meet at the parking lot on the northeast corner of Bridge St. and Granada St. at 5:30pm to set up and the meal starts at 6:00pm. To make a donation of food, finances or time serving on the 28th call Kathy Corey at 904-710-0572.

HANGING OF THE GREENS – NOVEMBER 29TH
Plan to come to the church Wednesday evening at 6:30pm to help decorate the church for the Christmas season. There will be a soup, bread and cookies dinner served. Please let us know on the bottom of your Connect Card if you will be attending and would be bringing a soup and or cookies.

COATS FOR KIDS – DUE DEC. 3RD
A coat rack is set up in the foyer to collect winter coats and clothing items. Coats, raincoats, umbrellas, rain boots, socks and belts for St. Johns County Homeless students.
