HEARTS FOR THE HUNGRY

Looking for a place to start serving? Mark your calendars for May 24th for our monthly opportunity to serve dinner downtown. We meet at the parking lot on the northeast corner of Bridge St. and Granada St. at 5:30pm to set up and the meal starts at 6:00pm. If anyone can make a donation of either food, time or money to Hearts For The Hungry, please do so. If you would like to serve the foods that will be shared on the 24th contact Tisha Dillon.

BABY SHOWER

Ladies, please join us Sunday, June 5th after the 2nd gathering from 12:00pm-1:30pm for a baby shower honoring Sarah Badder. She is expecting a little girl and is registered at Target. A light lunch will be served. Please help us in celebrating this wonderful occasion with the Badder’s!

SUMMER CAMP AT NORTH FLORIDA CHRISTIAN CAMP

Summer Camp is more fun when you go with people you know! We try to get as many of our Elementary and Middle School Students at the same weeks of camp each summer. This summer: Middle School I June 26-July 1 & Elementary II July 24-29. Please see Ben or Dawn Boles for the supporting church code ($50 discount off) and also the $100 scholarship from the church towards camp for the Homeport family.

MINISTRY ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT JOB OPENING

Homeport is seeking an experienced individual who is sold out for the ministry of the church and has the heart of a servant to work with our staff to further the ministry here at Homeport. Responsibilities include assisting with daily operations including preparing publications for worship gatherings, congregational communications, contact with suppliers and coordination of facilities, mailings, housekeeping, errands and all other duties assigned. Experience using office software such as Microsoft Office and other related software required. Will need to work well with others, have the ability to assist church partners and members of the community in a caring and confidential manner, strong writing, editing and publications as well as be task and detail focused. A minimum of 2 years of related administrative assistant experience required. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 1:00pm and attendance at one of two Sunday gatherings (8:30 or 10:30 service). Benefits include 1 week paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
