July 16th Weekly Highlights

HEARTS FOR THE HUNGRY

Looking for a place to start serving. Mark your calendars for July 25th when we will serve dinner downtown. We meet at the parking lot on the northeast corner of Bridge St. and Granada St. at 5:30pm to set up and the meal starts at 6:00pm. If anyone can make a donation of either food, time or money to Hearts For The Hungry, please do so. If you would like to serve the foods that will be shared on the 25th call Kathy Corey at 904-710-0572.

UPCOMING YOUTH GROUP EVENTS

Sunday, July 16 – Join us right after church for an afternoon of bowling! We will be going to Anastasia Bowling Lanes. Cost is $6 and will cover two games and shoe rental. Please see Dawn Boles for more information.

Friday, August 4 – Summer Lock In! Come join us for some end of the summer fun! We will start off the evening at Daytona Lagoon waterpark and then come back to church to hang out and have fun. The cost is $25 and will cover admission to Daytona Lagoon and food. Drop off on Friday will be at church building at 3:45 pm and pick up will be Saturday morning at 8:00 am. The lock in is for students in 4th grade and up. Please let Dawn Boles know if your child will be attending!

OPEN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITION OPEN

Homeport seeks an experienced individual who is sold out for the ministry of church and has the heart of a servant to work with our staff to further the ministry here at Homeport. Responsibilities include assisting with daily operations including preparing publications for worship gatherings, congregational communications, contact with suppliers and coordination of facilities, mailings, housekeeping, errands and all other duties assigned. Experience using office software such as Microsoft Office and other related software required. Will need to work well with others, have the ability to assist church partners and members of the community in a caring and confidential manner, with strong writing and editing skills, as well as be task and detail focused. A minimum of 2 years of related administrative assistant experience required. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 2:00pm and attendance at one of two Sunday gatherings (9:00 or 11:00).
