December 3rd Weekly Highlights

A SKEPTIC’S CHRISTMAS INVITE CARDS

Cards are now available on the resources table to pick up and hand out to friends and neighbors for our Christmas services.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING – TODAY

There will be a Congregational Meeting after each gathering today to celebrate what God has done in 2017 and look ahead towards 2018.

COATS FOR KIDS – DUE TODAY

A coat rack is set up in the foyer to collect winter coats and clothing items. Coats, raincoats, umbrellas, rain boots, socks and belts for St. Johns County Homeless students.

ANGEL TREE – DUE DECEMBER 15TH

Help us spread some Christmas Cheer in our community this year by stopping by the Christmas tree in the Lobby to pick up an Angel Tree Wish List. We have been given 20 children’s names from Gamble Rogers Middle School. If you would like to take a name, purchase items from their wish list and return here to the church, we will deliver your gifts to the school on Friday, Dec. 15th. Please sign the roster next to the number you have taken, so we know that all children will receive a gift.

GET TO KNOW HOMEPORT – DECEMBER 10TH

Get to know Homeport is a 30 minute event we host regularly to help you get to know us a little better and for us to get to know you.  We’ll give you a snapshot of our story, and update you on where God is leading us as His church. We’ll also talk about how you can get connected here at Homeport.

CHRISTMAS CAROLING- DECEMBER 16TH

Mark your calendars and come out to join us as we make a joyful noise beginning at 6:00pm at Buckingham Smith Assisted Living facility and then serenading some of our members.  The Praise Band will be leading us in song while at Buckingham Smith.
