First off, I want to say thank you to all those who made room in the 11 am gathering last Sunday and moved to our new 9 am gathering. To me, it seemed like it took forever from the time we announced the time change in February to get to last weekend and I was nothing short of astonished. Let me give you a little perspective, the last weekend in March there was a 70 person difference on campus between the (21) 8:30 am and (92) 10:30 am gathering. This last Sunday, April 2nd there was a 5 (57 & 62). I couldn’t believe. So many people in the first gathering told me how different the gathering felt and you could the exciting energy in the room. Also, we now have more room in the 11 am gathering for new guests. Last Sunday was an answer to years of praying and months of preparation. Thank you all for joining us to help ensure we have space for others who need to hear the Gospel and experience the family atmosphere just like we did.
All these plans coincide together to help us get prepared for Easter this year. We’ve been praying for our friends, relatives, neighbors and coworkers who don’t know Jesus as their Savior since the beginning of this year. Every week we are reminded by the Every1PrayFor1 banner of the names we have been praying for and what an awesome opportunity you have to impact someone’s life by inviting them to join you for Easter Sunday.
Hopefully, you picked up a few of our invite cards on your way out the doors last week and we’ll have more for you this week, as well. On Monday we’ll also be rolling out some Facebook ads, Pictures and an Event for both gatherings. You can like or love these posts, share them on your wall, or send them as a message directly to a someone as another way to help us get the word out.
I am so excited for Easter this year as we continue to share about His Story. The story of Jesus changed history but Easter Sunday changed more than just that, more importantly, the message of Jesus resurrection changed your life and we need to share His Story with other who do not know it because it has the power to change their life too.
So, who are you invited to join you Easter Sunday?
